Being 13/14 is not a barrier to using tampons. As long as you've started your period and know how to use a Tampon properly, you can try it. Many young girls use tampons as soon as their periods start.
Less visible: tampons are placed inside your body, unlike tampons which need to be attached to your pants, and are more discreet when you dress.
Freedom of movement: You can use a tampon while swimming or playing sports, and it won't interfere with your activities.
Dryer: Many girls find tampons more comfortable to use than sanitary napkins, especially when moving around, they feel cleaner and drier.
Choose a light tampon: When you first start using a tampon, it is easier to choose one with light absorbency and more comfortable to insert.
Proper use: Find a quiet place to relax during insertion. Remember that the tampon should not feel uncomfortable after insertion and should feel as if nothing has been placed in it.
Change regularly: Change your tampon every 4 to 6 hours to keep it clean.
Wash your hands: Always wash your hands before inserting or changing a tampon.
When you first start using a tampon, you may feel a little uncomfortable or nervous, but most people get used to it. If you feel uncomfortable, try adjusting the position or switching to a different method. If it's really uncomfortable, stop using it and ask your doctor or mom about it.
When you first use tampon, together with Panty Liner daily, period underwear for overnight, you will have a nice period care.
